Type 1 Floor comprises a floor base mass of 300 kg/m² (including any directly bonded screed,) a resilient layer, and a floating finish comprising either a sand / cement screed or a timber raft.

The mass of the floor base includes the self-weight of the floor units plus any directly bonded screeds and/or ceiling finishes.
